काठमाडौं । केन्यामा सरकारविरुद्ध प्रर्दशन भएको छ । आर्थिक संकट भोगिरहेका केन्याका नागरिकले सरकारले कर बढाउने नयाँ वित्त विधेय ल्याउँदा संसद् भवनमा आक्रमण गर्न खोजेका थिए । सो क्रममा प्रहरीको गोली लागि पाँच जना प्रदर्शनकारीको ज्यान गएको छ भने ५० भन्दा बढी प्रदर्शनकारी घाइते भएका छन् ।

मंगलबार हजारौं प्रदर्शनकारीले करवृद्धिसम्बन्धी विधेयक पारित गरिरहँदा बलपूर्वक संसद भवन भित्र प्रवेश गर्न खोजेका थिए । प्रदर्शनकारीलाई रोक्न अश्रुग्यास र पानीको फोहोरा प्रयोग गर्दा पनि पछाडि नहटेपछि प्रहरीले गोली प्रहार गरेको रोयटर्सले जनाएको छ। 

वित्त विधेयक विरुद्ध संसद् भवन बाहिर प्रर्दशन गर्ने क्रममा संसद् भवनको केही भागमा प्रर्दशनकारीले आगो समेत लगाइदिएका थिए । संसद भवनमा आक्रमण भएपछि प्रहरीले गोली चलाएको अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय सञ्चार माध्यम रोयटर्सले उल्लेख गरेको छ ।

यस्तै, सांसदहरूलाई जमिनमुनिको सुरुङ मार्ग प्रयोग गरी सुरक्षित बाहिर निकालिएको थियो। 

देशले चरम आर्थिक संकटको सामना गरिरहेका बेला करवृद्धिसम्बन्धी कानून ल्याएको भन्दै सर्वसाधारणले विरोध गरेका हुन् । विरोधका बीच सो विधेयक सदनबाट भने पारित भएको छ ।
