kathamandu। With more than 490 videos and 1 million subscribers, Bibid Jung Thapa’s YouTube channel has quickly become everyone’s favorite among young people. Bibid Jung Thapa was born in the little hill village of Dharapani, Myagdi. The journey from Bibid Jung Thapa to MRB Vlogs is a success in and of itself. He was born on July 1, 1997, to Mrs. Juna Thapa and Mr. Arjun Thapa. He first enrolled in elementary school in his village before moving to Kathmandu to pursue his further education at the age of four. After a year, he found it impossible to adjust to the city of Kathmandu without his mother’s care and affection, so he left Kathmandu to be with his parents during the Dashain vacations.

As they say, “Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.” The unfortunate event happened after he was expelled from Beni Boarding School for failing the Class 9 annual test. He decided not to finish his study since he was unsatisfied with the way his career was going. But thanks to his uncle’s promise to purchase him a bike, he was ready to complete his education at a nearby school called Lokdeep Secondary Boarding School. After two years of effort and a lot of work, he completed his SLC examinations with high grades, which was a slap in the face to the Beni Boarding School teachers who thought it wasn’t the greatest idea to level him up. Having experienced teachers’ discouragement throughout his academic career, he felt the need to prove to him that future success depends on both knowledge and passion. As promised, his mother gave him a bike as soon as he completed the SLC test. He was also finishing up his +2 studies at Mount Everest Higher Secondary Boarding School, where he reunited with childhood friends who shared his enthusiasm for riding. They officially formed the Myagdi Rider Group . While traveling from Beni to Baglung with his group “Myagdi Riders”, they encountered a horrific accident at Maldhunga that resulted in a death and a serious injury. Just after that incident, the society blamed their riding group for the death of his friend, which affected him.

As a result, the group separated. It was difficult for him to see the death of one of his friend But he never lost his love for riding bikes. Since he had watched motovloggers from Nepal on YouTube, he had the confidence that he could succeed in that field. It was the icing on the cake since he can ride and travel to other interesting and adventurous areas. With this in mind, he started his career under the new name MRB Vlogs aka Myagdi Rider Bibid Vlogs on June 4, 2015, which itself is a brand now. With his travel partner and mentor Ahmed Dulla, he has travelled to several places of India on his motorbike. His parents are overjoyed with their son’s success and rise to popularity and fortune throughout the years. He started his YouTube journey by requesting different people for devices, but now the moment has come when he has a lot of sponsors with him on his quest. His first YouTube revenue was NPR 10 thousand and he gave NPR 500 to each family who assisted him the start of his profession. He only had NPR 1000 left after giving everything he had from his first income but now he earns NPR 10 LAKH per month. This trip showed us that no matter what happens in our lives if we think about doing something we love and are passionate about and work hard, it will be done.
